Advancing Forensic Science Education for a More Orderly, Secure, and Progressive Philippines
Project Launch Countdown
In Partnership With

Strengthening Forensic Expertise in the Philippines
Forensic science plays a vital role in crime investigation and justice administration in the Philippines. However, the country continues to face significant gaps in forensic capacity, particularly in specialized fields such as forensic anthropology, friction ridge examination, and DNA analysis.
The lack of advanced training in these critical disciplines limits the effectiveness of criminal investigations, prosecutions, and the prevention of national security threats, including terrorism and organized crime.
To address this need, the University of the Cordilleras, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines, the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S.-Philippine International Exchange Alumni, is implementing the Justice Through Science Project.
